On-line Abstract Submission and Instructions

All abstracts must be submitted on-line.  To create an account click the "create an account" button at the bottom of the left panel and follow the instructions. 

The abstract submission deadline is Friday, April 29, 2011.

All abstracts submissions must be in English. All abstracts will be reviewed. Authors will be notified if their abstract is accepted by Friday, June 3, 2011.

Poster submissions can report research or other innovative projects. They will be available for viewing throughout the conference. Once accepted, instructions for poster preparation will be provided.

Accepted abstracts will be printed as submitted in the program syllabus. They will not be edited for grammar or typographical errors. If your presentation is selected, audio or video recordings may be made of your presentation. Your submission of a presentation constitutes your agreement that recordings can be made and distributed. Accepted abstracts will be posted on the conference website. We encourage you to keep a copy of your abstract submission.

Abstracts are limited to 300 words exclusive of title and authors.

Abstract Title:

  • 12pt Times bold
  • Title case (upper and lower case)
  • Centered (not justified)
  • Single space after title

Author’s Name(s):

  • 11pt Arial bold
  • Upper and lower case
  • Centered (not justified)

Two or more authors:

  • Put presenting author first or underline the presenting author
  • Single space after last author

Author’s Affiliation(s):

  • 11pt Arial
  • Upper and lower case
  • Centered (not justified)
  • Order:
    1. Department, College
    2. Institution, City State
  • Single space after affiliation

Abstract Text:

  • 300 word limit (2500 characters with spaces)
  • 11pt Times
  • Upper and lower case
  • Flush left (not justified)
  • Single space between paragraphs, do not indent

Submissions that do not follow these guidelines will not be accepted.
